TechThemYoung runs a structured, step-by-step system from enrollment to outcomes. No surprises, no hidden processes.

This is not a "watch videos and disappear" program. Every step is designed for accountability and measurable progress. Read this page carefully before you consider enrolling.

The 6-Step Journey

From enrollment to completion, here's exactly what happens. Each step builds on the previous one.

Choose a Program

Review the available tracks (App Development or Cybersecurity Fundamentals) and honestly assess if you meet the requirements. Don't apply for both—choose one path and commit fully.

Pay & Secure Your Seat

Enrollment is confirmed only after payment. Online payment is the default method. No seat reservations, no "I'll pay later." Your payment secures your spot in the cohort.

Enrollment Confirmation

Within 24 hours of payment, you'll receive orientation details and Learning Management System (LMS) access instructions. Check your email (and spam folder).

Weekly Learning & Tasks

Attend live sessions, complete assignments, and submit work weekly. Two missed submissions and you're out of the cohort. This keeps everyone accountable.

Build Real Projects

Work on guided projects with code reviews and corrections. Your final project must be complete and functional to finish the program. No incomplete projects.

Next-Step Guidance

Use your completed portfolio to move toward internships, freelance projects, or specialization paths. We provide direction, not placement.

What Makes This Different

Most training programs measure progress by completion. We measure progress by submissions and working code.

Structure Over Motivation

We've seen too many Nigerian learners start with excitement and fade after two weeks. Our system is built to counter that decline through mandatory weekly deliverables and peer accountability.

You won't be left to "figure it out." But you also won't be carried. The system works if you work the system.

Time, Tools & Discipline

These are non-negotiables. If you cannot commit to these, wait until you can.

Laptop Access

A functional laptop you can use consistently. Phones and tablets won't work for development tasks. Shared cyber cafe access creates consistency issues.

Stable Internet

Reliable internet for live sessions and submissions. Intermittent connectivity leads to missed deadlines and frustration.

6–10 Hours Weekly

Minimum weekly commitment. This includes live sessions, coding time, and assignment completion. Schedule it like work, not leisure.

Submission Discipline

Willingness to submit work on time, every time. Late submissions disrupt the cohort flow and your own progress.

Payments & Enrollment Rules

Clear rules prevent confusion and ensure smooth operations for everyone.

Payment → Access

LMS access is granted only after verified payment. No exceptions. This isn't bureaucracy—it's how we maintain system integrity and prevent abuse.

Installments: Available on request, but full payment must be completed by week 4 of the program. Partial access isn't possible in a cohort system.

Refunds: 50% refund before week 1. No refunds after week 1 begins. This ensures committed participants only.

Default Method: Online payment (card/bank transfer). Manual payment (bank deposit) requires email confirmation from admissions@techthemyoung.com.ng first.

After the Program

No false promises, just realistic outcomes based on what you've actually built.

Completed Portfolio

You'll finish with real, working projects in your portfolio. In Nigeria's tech space, proof of work beats certificates alone.

Clearer Direction

You'll know exactly what to learn next, whether it's deeper specialization, freelance work, or job applications.

Community Access

Join our alumni network for peer support, project collaborations, and occasional opportunity sharing.

We focus on making you ready for opportunities, not promising jobs that don't exist. Your work speaks for you.
